Removing rust can be time-consuming and labor-laden. While many methods require grinding, sanding, scrubbing or the use of toxic, abrasive and harmful chemicals, Armor Protective Packaging® has developed a line of rust removers that fly in the face of traditional methods.
Metal Rescue® Rust Remover Bath is a water-based solution that safely removes rust from iron and steel. It’s ideal for manufacturers or suppliers of metal parts, helping eliminate the need to outsource rust removal or discard corroded items.
Metal Rescue® removes rust using chelation technology, which works by surrounding the iron oxide (rust) particles and lifting them from the metal’s surface. Metal Rescue Bath is non-corrosive, non-flammable, fume-free, and safe for use with other materials, including rubber, elastomers, plastic, vinyl, and clothing.
Metal Rescue® works in three easy steps: Soak → Check → Rinse/Dry

Metal Rescue is non-flammable, non-corrosive, contains no petroleum solvents and has a neutral pH
Soak time: 5 minutes – 24 hours depending on severity of rust, type of metal and temperature — optimal operating temperature: 68°F (20°C) to 150°F (65.56°C)
One gallon will remove approximately ½ lb. of dry rust
